Britain's Court of Appeal ruled Wednesday that Sean Hodgson, 57, did not kill 22-year-old Teresa De Simone in 1979. De Simone was found strangled in her car outside the pub where she worked in southwest England. DNA tests were not available when Hodgson was tried in the early 1980s. Police said DNA evidence from the scene didn't match a sample provided by Hodgson. Hodgson had initially confessed to the crime but then pleaded not guilty. His lawyers argued their client wasn't well, was a pathological liar and that the confessions were false.
